I am a Kripalu Trained Professional Yoga Teacher since 2009. As a disabled veteran, with PTSD and TBI, I found that Yoga training deeply inspired me to change my life by learning about the human body. COVID 19 challenged me to add to my skill set, by offering online classes. I quickly realized that we are all still connected in a sort of quantum entanglement even though we are far apart.
Teaching and practicing Yoga helps me to just “stop”, and to direct my mind (thoughts, emotions) to my body and realize the tension it holds — and, for at least 90 minutes, I feel grounded and free. My purpose in teaching is to guide and educate students on how to experience a connection to the body, and learn how to relieve pain and stress through breath and movement.
