Online Zoom Classes
You don’t have to leave home. Each class is offered via Zoom. Excellent presentation skills. Monthly Pricing – $110 for 2 classes/week, $160 for 3 classes/week. Drop-In’s $20. No make-ups or refunds. Payments are accepted via Zelle and PayPal only. Email admin@amberskylar.com for registration.
Strength
Muscle Activation Strength Class (not yoga) is designed to target muscle fatigue/tension. Muscles deflate like tires and lose functionality from over/under use. You won’t know this until pain signals a warning. This class is designed to improve strength by specifically targeting depleted muscle groups through intelligently sequenced movement. Education and modifications offered. Beginners welcome, but must contact for approval.

Breath
Gentle Therapeutic Yoga is an all-levels class offering stretch, strength, and balance movements. Each class begins with a practical breath technique. Excellent sequenced movements help to activate muscles needed for balance and body restoration. Deep relaxation offers quiet guided 3-4 minute meditation. Education and modifications offered throughout the class. Beginners welcome.
Thursdays, 7:00-8:15pm EST
About Amber
I am a Kripalu Trained Professional Yoga Teacher since 2009. As a disabled veteran, with PTSD and TBI, I found that Yoga training deeply inspired me to change my life by learning about the human body. COVID-19 challenged me to add to my skill set, by offering online classes. I quickly realized that we are all still connected in a sort of quantum entanglement even though we are far apart.
Teaching and practicing Yoga helps me to just “stop”, and to direct my mind (thoughts, emotions) to my body and realize the tension it holds — and, for at least 90 minutes, I feel grounded and free. My purpose in teaching is to guide and educate students on how to experience a connection to the body, and learn how to relieve pain and stress through breath and movement.
